eHCA Mobile Website User Guide

Introduction

Features included in the mobile website

Owing to the substantial use of mobile devices to access the current website, eHCA is now available to run on many mobile devices. All you require is access to the internet via your phone carrier or a local wireless network. We have targeted the most commonly used functions on the eHCA website for easy access and navigation via your mobile device. You will find the following functions included:

Home Screen

  • Alerts (This displays items that may require your attention)
  • News (Latest information you need to know)
  • Scrolling banner (Important news from Healthcare Australia or your local agency.)

Availability

  • My Availability (Ability to modify the next 6 months of your availability as well as add or edit your availability notes)
  • Permanent Availability (Ability to modify your default availability as well as add or edit your availability notes)

Shifts

  • View Shifts (View your allocated shifts for the last 4 weeks, and the next 8 weeks. Confirm allocated and changed shifts (if available for the shift and the facility))
  • Unfilled Shifts* (Display unallocated shifts you can request that may be suitable for you)
  • Allocate Me Now* (Search for last minute shifts that may still be available)
  • Advised Unable to Fill* (Shifts we have been unable to fill, that may still be required)

Payroll

  • View Payslips (View your payslips by financial year, for as long as you have worked with us.)
  • Unpaid Shifts (Display shifts for which we have not received timesheets, or where we have received a timesheet, but the shift is awaiting payment.)

Preferences

  • Do Sends (Add or review facilities where you most like to work)
  • Do Not Sends (View or review facilities where you prefer not to work)
  • Subscriptions (Edit your SMS/email subscriptions settings)

Information

  • Aged Care and other content of interest to you **
  • Help (Information to assist you in getting the most from eHCA)
